I've had quite a lot from them. Prices tend to be on the high-ish side, sale is more limited that other nurseries, but quality of plants is good. Nice show garden if you are going in person.

Amulree is nearby, they have 50% sale on at present, and Will Giles garden is nearby too - definitely worth a visit. All three within 30 minutes drive of each other.

And if you are going to make a weekend of it :) then East Ruston Old Vicarage is my all time favourite garden to visit.

Well order came this morning impressed with service.
Probably going to have to keep the canna Durban and musa Siam inside on a window sill for the winter as they are smaller than I thought.
Debating whether to pot them on or leave them?
        What do you guys think?

Leave them. Better to water more often if they are dry, all too easy to over-water in Winter - and then you have to wait for the plant to drink it, meantime the roots are cold & wet, which invites rot. I would pot them on early in the Spring once they start to make new growth

          Thx guys will do.
As cannas re sprout from rhizomes in the spring, I don't think that the Durban has formed one
          yet big enough.
Will it keep its leaves over the winter in the house south facing window or will it need supplementary lighting?
Sorry for all the questions :sofa:

Should be fine ... I grew one that was a youngster like that in the Autumn and it kept its leaves past Christmas, and did not go properly dormant, and then started up again in late February. It was in a frost free conservatory, so cold (albeit frost free), wet, and poor light!

Love Urban Jungle, its only a quarter mile from my house and often take the kids down as they love it. Really should spend more money in there than I do, but I have no room!

Thx sal that's cheered me right up :blue thumb:
I thought that the Durban looked dodgy (but they say its virus free)
They say the Siam should change as it gets older :dunno:
Getting some grow lights soon, so we will see!
Might be the first and last time I buy from them!
Hope you had a good holiday sal

Mowgley , you know me I would never upset you ....

            look at the small siam

seen them on sale and they where red , the guy was really honest and told me that they are really tender ....really hard to keep alive .

for the Durban , trust me that`s infect , I can spare a bit of mine , but not sure if a durban or a phasion , got a small peace from new zealand and it was virus free guarantee ;)

Cheers sal for the offer I might take you up on that in spring.
It makes me mad though that a supposed reputable supplier sends out virused stock !
The musa starting to show a little more colour in its leaves now, but if you say it's not I'll take your word for it, you know more than me.
If it is virused that's it no more ill just grow from seed now on.
