It shouldn't do that anytimes. It should be de-bugged.

Somebody should be reporting bugs back to the software authors.

Is it a bug? I thought it was a feature. It keeps your reply on the page you were reading, until you refresh. Makes sense to me because it means you see your reply in context to the post you were reading when you were inspired to reply. But I could be wrong.

It doesn't do that with (any?) other forum software, and I think it previously didn't matter where in a thread you 'replied' as your reponse would always then appear at the end of the thread. Using multiple quotes (from various pages) would make a nonsense of inserting a reply amongst other stuff.

Does it on Anglers Net, they're using Vbuletin I think.

The reply goes in the right cronological order the next time you view the thread.

But, *this* is GC ... we could always chalk it up as what makes it such a unique place to be (?) ;)

I think CL1 has it spot on re: the placement/refresh thing. A quirk? Perhaps, but not a malicious or unsavoury one (bit like that mole on Mr "M" ... who *else* has one THERE? :dunno: but, rather than compare - as if I could  - I just accept it ... AKA it's a quirk of GC (if you haven't encountered it elsewhere :heehee: )

Just how many forums do you find the time for Scrungee!!??? :thud: I struggle to find a daily window to get here most days

Wouldn't know as the Capcha on that site is so appalling it makes registration for some people with dodgy eyesight completely impossible.
