Nicotine spray , new one to me What does it do ? Is it effective ?
Do I have to crawl round the smokers corner in the local pub , collecting dog ends , that is going to look so so wrong

 

Blight also affects tomatoes, and many growers ban smoking/smokers from near their crops due to tobacco mossaic virus, so no good for them:

Many thanks for the heads-up Ziggy, I'll stock up while I can.
I've still got some Dithane 945 which is good for blight control as I stocked up when it was about to be withdrawn but it will only last another season.

 

Have prepared a draught letter to the EU.

 

They already have a replacement product, only it is five times the price, sold in sachets

I've heard before about making it from scratch, but I guess I would rather leave it to those who know what they're doing. Having said that, there may well come a time when there's no choice but to make it yourself.
