Snoop Had A HairCut Today!

i groomed Snoop today! im finally shaking off this 'orrible flu & felt so much better i thought what the hell i'll get the little fella's hair sorted out (i know, im such a trooper ) i thought it best to get him clipped now cos we are apparently in for a scorcher of a week! i'd personally like this hot weather to bog off at this stage but Snoop was not impressed with being stuck in on such a beautiful evening & had quite a stroppy look on his face lol (check out his face in the last few pics) he is such a good boy though & did everything i asked & more



he really has the most expressive face the big stroppy sourpuss on him

we went for a two & a half hour walk earlier to is fav park as a treat for being such an exceptionally good boy yesterday he's now sprawled out on the couch here beside me, happy but shattered

actually its just dawned on me im brushing his tail in that last pic, thats why he's making a funny face, Snoop hates me doing anything with his tail! im lucky in that he doesn't usually mind being groomed at all thankfully & has been known to nod off on the table for 40 winks the only part of him he doesn't like me brushing/combing is his tail, i've no idea why but thats what i was brushing in the last pics where he's glaring at the camera! lol

 

Maybe it's too close to places he doesn't want touching...

 

haha! he's actually alright with that sorta thing, what with him being groomed i have to trim around his rear end &..ehem...tackle but he trusts me...he knows i wont accidentally cut anything off

He hasn't had a bad experience with someone grabbing his tail, a kid or something?

 

its possible as the breeder we got him from had two kids, but im fairly sure nothing like that happened whilst he was here with us as neither have been around children very much & when they have i've always watched them like a hawk!

 

@honeybunny guess what? Gus doesn't like having his tail brushed either, absolutely hates it, keeps sitting down so that I can't get to it!!!

Thats just a NO mum, don't like that look. Did it many times meself when I had to have a hair cut. And I must of had a tail as my Mum kept calling me a little devil, and devils have tails, don't they?

Just found this Honeybunny......He's gorgeous.... and that little face is to die for....what a good boy he is....it's all out war trying to keep my two still to be groomed they constantly think it's another game
