I might have missed something, but what's the idea of bringing them round? To me it's simple, they have to behave like decent human beings. Vile texts? Well, I wouldn't condone that, but I can understand the anger, given that your folks are in such a distressing situation. Nothing worse than bad neighbours:mad:

I class vile as something like 'I'm going to kick your heads in if you don't sort them out!!!' my texts were along the lines of 'I've reported you to the Salford council who are working closely with me to find a solution to your annoying tenants'.

I just can't see someone changing the habits they've had for 8 months (and probably longer).

Don't think 'I've reported you to the Salford council who are working closely with me to find a solution to your annoying tenants', falls into that definition.

My mum and dad went round to their house instead.

My dad said a lot of shrugging and smirking was happening, and he nearly walked out as it was pointless.

They claim we also interrupt their sleep, but couldn't give them any examples.

And my dad said ''can't you watch your movies on your laptop downstairs?''

and the Polish person's reply was ''why should I have to?''

to which my dad said ''why should I have to sleep on my sofa because of you watching movies in your bedroom?'' he had no reply.

They've requested I have no contact with them (the landlords) which I'm fine with.

They want to do it all through my parents :blue thumb: my texts hit a nerve.

Although I think I'm being blamed for texts not sent off my phone.

            Hiya Kyle.

I find this pretty annoying, and I can sympathise (I too have probs with my neighbours, although not on that scale). As Ronnie Barker would say, "Don't let the 'Blighters' (;)) drag you down"

I go back to my first point.

If they are going to be completely unreasonable about the time of the night they are making a noise then you put the speakers up against the party wall, aimed at their bedroom, cover it with duvets so the sound is only going into their bedroom and put Dark Side of the Moon on full bass and on repeat during the daytime when they are trying to sleep and see how they like it.

Yeah, let 'em have it! My son had something similar, so he did that, it didn't happen again!

I've often thought about a feedback loop in these situations, amplifying the noise coming from the offenders until it makes their eyeballs bleed. The only way they can stop it is by stopping the source of the noise in the first place.

And before anyone pulls the racist card out, i'd like to say I've got several Polish friends who would be appalled at this behaviour.

My dad said they started to be stupid, like asking if they're even allowed to watch tv, etc. These sort of people are not 'decent' as the landlords described them as.

I've got Polish neighbours opposite and you couldn't ask for better neighbours. :)

Like anywhere in the world, you get good and bad people, noisy and quiet people, nationality is irrelevant.
