    Good morning everyone,:)

    Its a little cool this morning, but its supposed to be like yesterday and warm up, so thats fine with me.

    No baby news yet:cool:, it will be one week tomorrow that Natalie's over due and nothing, she has a Dr's appointment this morning and I'm taking her, so I'll post an update then.:blue thumb:

    I was in Toronto most of the day yesterday and have to go back again tomorrow, depending on what the Dr says, maybe not!! ;)

    They moved into the house over the weekend, so it was a busy busy weekend for us, and having Kait home, made it even busier!!

    Anyhow.....off to start some laundry and do the vaccuming....so enjoy your day everyone.:SUNsmile:

    Afternoon all in GC,

    A breezy day here in Berkshire.

    Back from my morning call, Pizza for lunch, and a little siesta before taking OH for his dressing, down to 2 visits a week now.

    Going to sort out my packets of seeds tonight, cannot remember how many, but it's over 30.
    Oh, I wish it was the beginning of 2014, I want to get started all over again.

    Hi all,

    Popping in for update......Natalie went to the Dr's and no change, so tomorrow night at 5pm she goes to the hospital for a stress test, and then they will start to induce labor!!!:hapydancsmil:

    Kaits on her way back home for university, her boyfriend was there so he's bringing her back, which saves us a trip...thankfully.:blue thumb:

    I'm off to Toronto early tomorrow morning, just incase i dont pop in and you wonder where i am (lol);)....and changes and I'll log on from my phone and do a quick post.

        I've only just found time to check in. :) Fingers are worn out from typing!

        I had just about enough time in between everything else to pick 30lb of cookers and flog them. Mrs Shiney has produced lb's of cooked apples for me to find room for in the freezer.

        Moyra,yes the funeral went off ok thanks.The gentleman in question had been unwell for some time and had been up and down for a number of weeks and had already decided he had had enough so in a way it was to be expected and at least now he is at peace:sad:

        Still very busy here and at the moment the rain is lashing down and the winds quite strong but hopefully with the rain my cracks in the garden might start to close up:biggrin:

        Moyra, Loli - the typing work has to be done but a lot of the time is taken up with getting the brain in gear and looking up rules and law books (laws of bridge)! The course is tomorrow and I can then slow down a bit (not a lot :heehee:).

        We had some lovely rain from 5.30 this morning :blue thumb:. The garden really needed it as most of the plants were drooping. I've been using the sprinkler on the veg plot because we've had virtually no rain for a month.

        Mrs Shiney is off to see A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Globe theatre in London tonight. I hope the weather is OK as there is no roof on the theatre!

        Our actress friend is well into her rehearsals now (The Importance Of Being Earnest) and I've been cooking meals for so she isn't under too much stress. The show starts next week.

        I've got some more research and typing to do :phew:

        I hope Theo is OK.

        Its going to be another nice day here, lots of sun, need to do some watering.
        Kait got in early this morning from her boyfriends house, so she's coming down to Toronto with me, since i wont be going anywhere tomorrow.

        Havent talked to Natalie yet today, but there's no change since i didnt get a call or a text....think I'm the one taking her to the hospital since Dan will be working, and like Brad is right now, Dan's swamped with work too.

        Off to throw a load of laundry in before we leave for Toronto, so enjoy your day everyone.

          Moyra, sorry to hear you're having problems with getting on here. I've got my computer set to let me know when there are any Windows updates - which is, normally, at least three times a week. They are virtually all security updates but I always tell it to do them and they don't take long at all.

          The Globe theatre is built to be like the original so there is almost no roof and it's circular. There is a small amount of cover where there is a small part of the building extending out from the top of the wall (singular, as it's circular :)). This area has the posh seats - wooden benches with no backs :heehee:. The posh bit is that you're under cover - sort of! There's also a large area for standing, which is around the circular stage.

          Mrs Shiney took a cushion, jumper, coat, shawl and blanket in order ot make sure she was warm. She had an enjoyable time. :blue thumb:

          Well, I'm doing this teach-in today and have made sure (I think) that I will be able to answer all the questions that might be thrown at me. I'm holding it in a pub in a small village near us (they don't normally get any punters at lunch time and don't open unless arranged in advance) so we should be able to relax in comfort. We'll probalby continue working through a light lunch. It's a tough life!! :snork:


          It's just a matter of keeping on the go all the time otherwise I'd become a coach potato. Of course, the picture in the attic helps a lot. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:
