mowgley, I saw some last week in b&q for £3 but I haven't got the room for them, if they eventually grow they have too wider spread for my garden.:frown:

Been to Morrisons. Bought three Acers for a tenner each (Orange Dream, Atropurpureum and Phoenix). Two will be going in the front garden and the Phoenix will be going in a pot.

Bought a couple of trays of 6 plug plants (Violas) and some bulbs - Daffodils (two bags of ten for a couple of quid each - apricot mix and white mix), some beautiful red tulips for a couple of quid and a big bag of tulips for the guys in the office for three quid.

Well seeing as it was pay day yesterday, it would have been rude to stop there ...

I've just ordered some Daffodil 'White Lion' and pre-ordered some summer flowering bulbs:

              Ranunculus Peony
              Zephyranthus Habranthus Robustus
              Freesia doubles
              Anemone Coronaria Sylphide.

Nice choices there merleworld , I'm terrible with bulbs and always forget where I've planted them and end up digging them up  did try marking with coloured markers but the flippin magpies thought it was great fun to pull them all out :yikes:

Ha! I spy Bomarea Kristen - good call! They are well worth the effort.
P.whippleanus is one that I've had my eye on for a while.

I could have sent you some R.scillifolia seeds if you'd said!
