Indeed. We have a Pole working on our section, and a nicer fellow you couldn't wish to meet:blue thumb:

So it sounds like these are the Poles that Poland didn't want.

The landlord (led by his wife?) has made his position clear. The neighbours have done likewise.
Now have a read of this https://www.gov.uk/private-renting/antisocial-behaviour.

Send a solicitors letter to the landlords home address, recorded delivery, stating he should mitigate the problems as described or you will be seeking the special management order.
Seek this order before you send the letter as I'm sure it will all take a lot of time and chasing!

          Check this email I got today;

          Dear Mr Leonard,

I write to introduce myself as the investigating officer in the matter you have raised regarding noise nuisance from 148 A********* Street.

Thank-you for your diary sheets. I have written to the occupant of the property where the music originates to make them aware of the complaint and to ask them to contact me to discuss the issues within the next 7 days.

          ---

Now my parents want me to drop the case as they've quiet for one night, beggar's belief..

Please don't let your Parents quieten you on this. Progress has now been made, but you need to see it through to the end. One swallow does not a summer make.

They might just be skint or kna*kered, and waiting for the next pay packet or good nights sleep and they will be at it again.

Sometimes as our Parents get a little older, they need more help than they care to admit, they are often wary of a more modern age, where you have the power to empower yourself with the rights that are granted to everyone. They know it is wrong, but feel that an 'easy' life is to do nothing and hope the problem will go away. Unfortunately in many cases it does not. Sometimes even becoming worse, because 'Oh F them, they don't bother so we can carry on' attitude. Please, please, please, keep up the fight to get the noisy neighbours under control.

My best wishes to you and your suffering parents.

I think they'll s**** themselves when they see the letter, hopefully they go as far away as possible.

They've voluntarily agreed to move out! When, we don't know, hopefully before November.

They've been playing music louder than normal all day. Good riddance, I say!

I think it's the letter off the council which did it!

Whenever someone moves in, the house next door is never done up, so it looks pretty rundown.. just hoping they actually improve it and get some decent people in.
