Alison had a great voice Steve, but I think it's lost it's depth along with her weight. As a point of interest, my brother worked with her for a while in a music shop in Southend, Essex before her singing career took off.

 

A little I think, but to me at least, there is something in there that sends that tingle up my spine, as in this production of one of her classics...



All be it a 'breakfast tv' executive production...

I am wishing I was your brother ! I had a 'thing' for her when I was a youngster, despite me being all Rock and studs and leather type...

I'm a huge Led Zeppelin fan and the band I think that has come close to 'spot on' impersonation is Led Zepagain, even with Plants and Pages mannerisms. My daughter saw them live in Canada last year, here's some pics she took as well as a couple of videos.

You must be the same ? a song reminds you of certain things times occasions , so this one will remind me of 2013 in years to come when I hear it and what a cracker summer we have had .

Not the biggest Zep fan, but do enjoy them. Have checked out the above band, sound pretty good, looks like I missed them in Northampton last Sunday !
