Seeing as this page seems to be predominantly womenfolk doing the singing, I'll have to chuck this one in.

This song evokes fond memories of my childhood, listening to my parents' records on our big wooden, mono record player.

Nowadays I like it partly for the old reasons of it being a nice simply catchy tune with nice calypso sounds, and partly because the lady that does the bulk of the singing not only has a lovely voice, but is also, erm, well lets not beat about the bush, she is (or at least was at the time), of the visually appealing persuasion

Thought that was just the guy and he was miming to the voice of the record producer?

 

That's ok anyway. While I like to keep an open mind and accept the opinions, desires and beliefs of others, I personally never fancied the bloke one.
