    Bat question

    just before dusk yesterday , I saw a bat quite high in the sky , flying in a straight line I have never seen this before what type of bat could it be it was twice the size of the normal ones I have flying in and out of the garden and over the river

                Found this fellow in my GH, it is called Alomya Debellor, and it is a parasitic wasp. The adults feed on nectar and aphid honeydew. The female lays her eggs into the caterpillars of butterflies and moths.:eeew:

                Ants busy feeding on the nectar and pollen in a Cobaea. Stocking up for winter perhaps:scratch:

                        Last night I saw a Hedgepig in the garden for the first time in many years, I ran in the house to get Christina but it had scarpered when we came back. I waited a while silently but I could hear it rustling in the undergrowth in the next garden.

                        They must be getting ready for the big kip soon surely? :snooze:
