So, I trudge off to Doggy School suitably dressed: raincoat & wellies.

Problem #1: Rain coat is not full length = soggy jogging bottoms
Problem #2: realised rain was reaching ankle length ... but that was inside of my wellies!

(Aside: why does the auto spell checker on this forum insist on correcting wEllies into something more phallic? )

Literally had to empty my boot before I could get into my car (and caused a unique puddle all of my very own from the contents)!

Anyone know if they can be salvaged? Or, have I just bagged myself two new plant pots? :dunno:

 Just wondering M, were your jogging bottoms inside or outside your wellies?

If they were inside, is it possible the rain was running off your overcoat and down the inside of your wellies? :dunno:

If they were outside, sounds like new welly time.

JB's were tucked inside my wEllies  So yes, it is quite possible that the run off is to blame (but it really was quite a lot of water for run off :heehee: )

*pops 'new wEllies' onto birthday list* :dbgrtmb:

The best wellies always used to be Hunters - don't think they are made nowadays though?

EDIT - they are still made, but now made in China, so goodness only knows what the quality is like. Shame, they used to be a big employer in my home town - horrendous smells would emanate out of the factory on a daily basis, which always used to make me wonder how the workers could stand it.

I have a pair of Hunter boots and one of them lets in water!!! not a lot, but not completely waterproof!! Good wellies are actually hard to find but I have heard that the Dunlop ones are pretty reliable!!
