Sounds spot on GA...:dbgrtmb:. Rain arrived at 8 50am and looks set to stay. Iv'e put some lemon butter icing inside a lemon drizzle cake. Friends coming for morning coffee soon. And I'm making a quince and apple pie for dinner tonight. Knitting a hat for someone so I'll start that off a bit later. House is cosy and warm,
    so so lucky,
    Jenny

DITTO!!! Got soaked through to my underwear at Doggy School this morning; garden is developing its own pond (again!) but, ducks are happy :dbgrtmb:

Roast pork cooking away in the oven with a plum crumble and custard for dessert. Leftovers will be frozen so we can have roast dinners 3x more without any extra effort other than a defrost and reheat - that's the theory, but I think the pre-portioned frozen roast meals will disappear when Mr M is on "duff" shifts

Very true Jenny! Quince and Apple pie sounds interesting and very appetizing. That's one thing about cold days there's always lovely comforting food to look forward to.

Same here 'M' - I have made enough liver and belly pork to get 3 more meals - great when I get home from work and I don't have to prepare - plus it also saves money!

            Home grown plums?

I'll send some over Sheal we've had more than enough here - some of our roads are under water - the drains just can't cope.

Another dull, overcast day. It's rained through the night as everything is wet and soggy. Looks like it may rain some more.....currently 10C.
