Well, I'll just say this. Notice how we have a photo of the photographer jumping across that gap, but we don't seem to have the photo that said photographer took.

 

Maybe his battery ran out

 

Or droped his camera when trying to hold on the rocks because he wasn't quiet there

There is a cable running along the wall at various points that they might be clipping in to - but don't suppose that's checked for corrosion too often either.

I seem to remember a programme about it on the telly. Quite funny really!

 

I took this photo standing on the glass floor in the observation deck at the top of Calgary Tower in Canada recently. Those streets are a mere 525ft below and it took the lift over a minute to reach the top.
