    Such as 7² = 49

    Trying to work out how you did that Scrunge

    Can only Seem to do it by Changing the font size.

      That only creates an 'illusion' of subscript. Proper subscript is like this ₐ ₑ ᵢ ₒ ᵤ (lower than normal text).

      Unicode. I have Notepad file containing various useful Unicode characters in my Dropbox folder and a shortcut to it on my desktop.

        6÷(√¹¹⁄₃₂)² was all done by using the Windows Character Map. A bit fiddly, but not rocket science if you use it enough.
