Yeah, and then you can guilt-trip them for not turning up. So what if you lose a sale, they weren't going to buy it anyway and you will feel soooo much better for having vented your feelings!

I'm sorry those people have let you down Zigs but you're probably better off without them anyway. The right people will turn up soon and buy. :)

Wasn't so much loosing a sale Sheal, just the rudeness of making an appointment and then breaking it without the decency to let me know, like I think i've said, i've wasted entire days waiting for folk who have never got back in touch.

I was brought up to consider lateness as being rude, let alone not turning up at all.

I did some simple observations a while ago and found that I spend something like 40% of my spare time (ie after sleep and work have been taken out of the mix), waiting for people.

Shame Zig, they were rude like that. Maybe your too "nice". Get tough, You will only show between this time and that time and everyother Saturday only those times. Never had to show a house yet, and don't look forward to leaving this one. They might have to carry me out.

That's great to hear Kandy :dbgrtmb:

Spent the whole of yesterday waiting for a second viewing that didn't turn up, but then heard from the agents that their car had broken down and that they still want to see it..

                      Watch this space.......

I had a girlfriend once, said she would come round next Saturday.

Didn't show up, tried calling a few times, no answer, then the phone got cut off so I went round her flat.

                          No answer

Next time I went round a neighbour came out and said she'd moved out

Ran into her in town 3 years later, she said "Oh, ello Ziggy."

                          I said "You're late!!"
