That displays very badly due to the forum fonts spacing which really does need sorting out (yet another post in site feedback/bugs?)

    I'm more familiar with
    =6/(SQRT(11/32))^2

6÷(√¹¹⁄₃₂)² on browser displays as six divided by the square root of eleven thirty seconds, squared. No idea what it means as I just made it up, but I think that I'll © it:)

All rather amateurish I know, but what I was really trying to say is that the character map is quite a handy, quick and easy tool.

Which is why I keep the most useful bits in a handy text file

Me too. The nested brackets avoid any confusion. A classic Excel solution.

Think I'll either not be too fussed over it or wait until there's an easy button to click lol

I have the character map pinned to the taskbar.

Like your solution Scrungee, although it is dependant on internet connection.

Being in my Dropbox folder means it's available (on my laptop) offline. Online I can access it (and my other stuff) from any PC (or my tablet with the Dropbox app for Android installed, and if marked as 'favourites' they can also be viewed offline).
