A few ids please

    Saw these today at Oxfords Botanic Gardens, but the labels were either buried under all the foliage or nicked!

    Number one;
    A Salvia (I thought that I had a photo of the foliage, but clearly not).

      No. 2 could be S. buchananii? The first one appears in the Super Salvia thread, I'm pretty sure.....

      Longk.... for some unknown reason when ever I visit a thread with your pictures on, it always stops in the middle of them whether there are new posts or not. Are you or they trying to tell me something? :heehee: It doesn't happen with anyone elses! :doh:

        Good call!! It certainly looks like Salvia atrocyanea, so we'll put that to bed unless anyone has a better idea. Thanks!
