Cheers @sal73 Maybe I'll go and get it tomorrow then and keep it in the house.
The Siam ruby is in the living room is doing ok, the lower leaves are going yellow but there's a new leaf starting to open!
Still not much red colouring but that's probably due to the strength of the sun not turning them red.

Got tiled floors:cool: and the ceiling is nearly 6m high;) The worst that can happen to mine is mountaineering attempts by the cats:cat-kittyandsmiley:

Even here, the Ricinus haven't attained their usual size this year. It was such a late start. I'm saving seed like crazy, chaps, so if anyone who isn't on the Seed Swap list wants some, PM me.

I saw the root moving in the wind this morning, so decided to get it out before the wind tomorrow either rocks it, or snaps it off at the base plate.

Pete , great as ever , last year I`ve lost my 3 bigger ensete , I think it was because of all the rain we had and I didn`t dry them enough , the cold spring has done the rest ...

looking at you picture are you digging out the musella or leaving in the soil?

I'm leaving the Musella and the basjoo outside, Sal.
I intend giving them a bit of protection, but if they dont make it I have replacements as both sucker quite well.
