Aww poor Mr and Mrs Shiney.....I hope they're keeping warm and back with us soon.

 

Morning everyone,

Its a cold and frosty morning here, had to throw on the winter coat when I dropped Brad off at work, truck needed to warm up for a bit too, thank god for heated seats!!

I'm home today, but I need to finish putting away some stuff outside, as well as get started on packing up the summer clothes, take it to the storage container, and bring home the winter stuff and wash it all/


Off to make some breakfast.....so enjoy your day everyone.

Thanks, went to get hold of him when I got in from work to do as you suggested ( I saw your post whilst at work, but the work system don't let me post reply's) and low and behold 'no tick' have checked him all over and it has definitely gone. Will remember tho' for next time, as saves a £30 visit to the vets.

And you are so right about colds, felt rubbish first thing, felt better during day, and now I am home am feeling rubbish again. The OH has had hers 2 weeks, she was sent home from work today, and the doc has given her antibiotics as there is a nasty one doing the rounds, hope I stay clear of that one!

Gdnam,sorry to hear you have got man flu bad and hope that the antibiotics help your OH help her to get over her infection.It is the season now for bugs going round and i am just hoping I don't got down with anything at Crimbo which is often the way with me

Not feeling any better, and now have a sore chest to go with it.

@Kandy I have usually had my flu jab by now, keeps me pretty clear. Booked it for next week. Wishing now I had done it weeks ago.

Nice to have you back Shiney, seems your part of the country is making the news over the power cuts.
