A walk along the Norfolk Coast Path from Cromer to Sheringham.

Standing on Beacon Hill, at an impressive 344ft the highest point in Norfolk, after the epic ascent from Cromer.



A clear, sunny day meant we could just see the Sheringham Shoal offshore wind farm in the distance.

It was a lovely day, sunny & dry

 

A walk around Landguard point on a bright, cold and blustery afternoon.

This is a fascinating place to visit. A nature reserve and an old 18th century fort, originally built to guard the entrance to Harwich harbour, sit right next to the vast modern container port at Felixstowe docks, making a strange juxtaposition of man and nature, old and new.
Various other old buildings and structures are dotted around the shoreline too, giving plenty of great photo opportunities.

 

Arriving at work early today on a cold, misty November morning, I looked across the fields at the back, immediately got out the camera and was lucky enough to capture this sunrise.

The mist hovering over the frosty grass, the bare trees in the distance and the aircraft contrails in the sky made a beautiful combination.
