Still flourishing are roses

dahlias


fuschias


french marigolds, geraniums, spider flower and cosmos are also still in bloom

I don't even know what it is Jenny. It was supposed to be a blue moon according to the label when I bought it - but it definitely isn't that lol

 

It's more a case of what's hanging on really, but here goes;

Various Toad Lillies, even as the foliage dies back. The first one is T.lasiocarpa..................










Fuchsias, including Hawkshead.....................






Penstemon.................


Plectranthus,................


And Eccromocarpus scaber......................

Lobelia tupa has been an absolute star this year and is still looking pretty good...................




Abutilon x hybridum......................


The fifth flower spike of the year on this Acanthus..................


Last Acidantera bloom of the year................


Aconitum still pushing a few November blooms out...................


Bomarea hirtella is still turning the buds into flowers! It will get planted out next spring and I'm told that this will make it prolific..................


Finally, Desfontiania spinosa has produced another flower. As they were just small cuttings back in the spring I'm rather pleased with it!

 

A fair bit of Salvia action still;

Salvia conferiflora (in the greenhouse for tonight to protect it from the wind)................

Salvia elegans is a winter bloomer - almost there....................

Solanum rantonettii is still blooming its heart out....................

Still a few splashes of colour around my garden at present.

Plenty of berries on the Rowan this year.



Sanvitalia still going strong in a large pot.



Guelder Rose colouring up nicely now.



Plenty of early flower on this Viburnum bodnantense



Variegated box doing nicely in its pot.

 

Here too. The wet has turned quite a few herbaceous plants to pulp, and they look a mess amongst the ones that are still flowering.

Going to fleece the Dahlias etc. tonight, as we are forecast a touch of frost tonight, but +5C for the next fortnight, so going to see if everything will soldier on a little longer.

Very little mush here, but the wind tore the Acanthus leaves to shreds.
