    I have been trying to get a photo of my walking stick cabbage but I can,t get in the viewfinder.:rolleyespink::yay::heehee::)

        First batch compared to my second batch, I'm not so sure the second batch is going to catch up. I'm sure the growing instructions said wait till June to sow?

        Hee hee pete! I've never taken so much care over some flipping cabbages. I've got another 2 in the background of the first photo planted in the soil in a cold frame.

        By a strange coincidence, Tall Ebineezer Potts was a 19th Century Cabinet maker from Birmingham who used to specialise in Walking Stick manufacturing.:cool:

        I think we agreed it's OK to use chemicals on the cabbage pete, I will if the little b@ggars come near mine. I'm not planning on eating them (the cabbages not the whitefly!), they are only any good for sheep.

        Ziggy, is your hair nice and silky since eating your "spring greens" ?

            wouldn't that be just a gloopy sticky mess rather than soft? Pete, the club root might add a new dimension of interest to your handle!

            John, your cabbages look good! I still wish I'd kept a few seeds to sow in June, I reckon they would catch up if sown in the warmth and kept growing with no cold checks? It's windy here today, my cabbages are lying flat!
