      Ahh, the escape route for when the Kings Head was being raided, I know it well :biggrin:

      I think North Street in Guildford used to be called Lower Backside.

                  Good one, Trunky :yay: :yes::yahoo:

                  For anyone travelling near there, it's off I-70 in Colorado near Glenwood Springs.

                  Glenwood Springs is worth a visit if you're in the area. It has two outdoor swimming pools heated by hot springs with one of the pretty hot. We've been in the pool when it has been snowing!

                  When Doc Holliday retired he went there and ran a bar. They've still got some of the original fittings in there. President Teddy Roosevelt used to holiday there at a hotel, where he gave the original 'Teddy' bear to a maid. You can even see parts of an original mine there.

                  The people are very friendly. :blue thumb:

                      I have relatives that live in Gosport, and when visiting them for the first time years ago, there was a bit of a conversation going on about going out, food and drink etc - anyway, I was apparently only half listening because someone said "Oooooh, Priddy's Hard......" to which my response was "Good for him, but I don't think its anything to do with us"

                      I then learned that Priddy's Hard is a place. :oopss:
