    Morning all,

    seem to be feeling more my old self each day now, thankfully. The OH though has been given some more antibiotics and signed off for a week by the doc, bless her, she is really struggling.

    There was some really loud fireworks in the area last evening, thankfully all 4 babies were indoors safe and sound, although Ella was very nervous and had to come sit on dad for comfort :cat-kittyandsmiley:

    Hello everyone,

    Sorry not been checking in for a while.:sad:

    Having a busy time- tis the season to make a lot of xmas decorations, woolly hats,mittens, scarves etc. Got a few craft fairs coming up, so knitting, sewing,baking until there's no tomorrow. Got to take it when you can get it.:spinning:

    OH still getting his leg dressed, hole is much smaller now, reckon it should have cleared up by the beginning of Dec.:yes:

    My friend who I look after has come out of hospital, so I am back to going over and caring for her in the mornings. :imphrt:

    Well, hope everyone has a safe Bonfire night, keep the wee animals, and the big one's tucked up indoors.:doggieshmooze:

    I hope that all of you that are under the weather are feeling better today :grphg:

    When I went to pick Mrs Shiney up from the station last night it was a bit of a shock to have to scrape the ice off the car! :hate-shocked:

    I'm trying to catch up on things after having been away for three days but I'm not making a great deal of progress. I've still got a number of phone calls to make and the emails keep flooding in.

    Mrs Shiney was doing some yoga on the kitchen floor when Sarafi opened the garden door (couldn't have been closed properly) and walked in to join her.

      Kandy...I could do to take a leaf out of your book and crack on with some housework:dbgrtmb:My kitchen seems forever in a state of disarray ....it's been piled up with ripening fruit ,jars and bottles from jam making etc...seeds drying on the window sills and now fruit soaking in Brandy for my Christmas cakes :rolleyespink:....i did make a start on wiping down the paintwork in the hallway yesterday though:pathd:....

        Morning everyone,

        Its not as cool here today, so I plan on mulching some leaves before it gets cold again, that and they are calling for rain starting later tonight, so I'll get that done, and need to cut back some of the ornamental grasses.

        I had a busy day yesterday, was on the go for most of it, so its kind of nice being home today, need to go to the shop and water my plants up on the mezzanine and I noticed yesterday that I have some tomatoes ready to be picked....so I'll grab those too.

        Off to get some more coffee, and put the towels into the dryer, the washer just shut off, so have a great day all.

          There were a couple of very big firework parties in the gardens near us last night. I hope the pets were OK because it was extremely noisy. I could feel the building shaking with shock of the explosions :hate-shocked:

          It's not so cold this morning but a bit windy. My neighbour phoned me yesterday to tell me that our fence got damaged in the storms last week. I hadn't noticed it as it's down the side of the house. I'll have to take a close look today but at least one fence post appears to be breaking and it's wobbling in the wind - as are the panels next to it.

          I've got a busy day today as I'm still not catching up on things :doh:. More things keep cropping up and need dealing with. Just trying to get through to BT to sort something out takes a lot of time. I, finally, was being put through to the person I needed to talk to and there was a glitch in the system that took me back to their talking computer system!It won't happen again today :nonofinger:

            Shiney sounds like you have some wind damage there. Trouble is the weather isn't the sort you want to be working out in it.
