    Morning everyone,

Its again, not as cool here today, although it is starting to rain out, and they said on the news that we may see some snow on Friday, sooooo not ready for snow yet!!

I'm home for a bit this morning, and need to get the vacuuming done, may go out and string some more lights in the tree's if its not raining too bad.

Off to get some more orange juice, so enjoy your day everyone.

    Morning all,

We have certainly had some damaging winds this year @shiney , I personally cannot remember another year like it.

Woo, hope that Mrs Woo is soon feeling better.

My 'man flu' is slowly getting better, just wish I could lose the cough, snotty nose etc...

    Have a great day everyone.

      Good morning everyone,

I hope everyone is doing OK:dbgrtmb:

Gdnam....You'll be a while yet getting over your 'man flu' the symptoms seem to linger on and on...but you're on the mend that's the main thing...Hope Mrs G is feeling better:dbgrtmb:

I've had to relent and ring work to tell them i won't be in for a couple of days....my crazy 'cold' is finally getting the better of me....it's one of those silly ones that hang around and won't 'come out' if you see what i mean..so a couple of days rest should see me right:dbgrtmb:

It's a lovely still sunny morning here and the birds are queuing up for their food...i could do to get some more bird feeders...6 plus 2 bird tables obviously isn't enough:rolleyespink:

      Waves to all...

Have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

        Aloha everyone,

Steve, I hope you're not quite so snotty today :heehee:

I'll go out this morning round to my neighbour's garden so I can inspect the wind damage as it's hidden by shrubs on my side. I'm not having any trouble with wind today! :snork:

I've also got the tree surgeon coming in today to quote for the five yearly pruning of the willow tree. I need to look around the garden for other things he can do as it's cheaper if he does them all in one go.

I got through to Bt, in India, yesterday and insisted on being put through to a supervisor. The person asked me to explain, first, what I wanted so that they could put me through. I, very politely, said "No, because I have already explained the reason a few times and gotten nowhere" - and they put me through. All sorted now :blue thumb:

On Saturday I'm going to have to take Mrs Shiney up to London as she's giving a couple of lectures in Victoria and our train service is going to be closed for 'planned engineeering works'. They've been doing this for about two years!

The sun is coming out

        Have a great day

        Aloha!

          Good Morning Yawnies :snork:

Haven't posted in here in ages (probably because I have so little to say :heehee: )

Fireworks have been going off every night around here since Friday. I'm very lucky because my furbabies cope with it all very well. Ozzy tried telling them off on Friday when he heard whizzbangs but soon got bored when the whizzbangs didn't respond to his telling off.

I start a new "job" on Saturday - well, not a proper job, but volunteering at a local charity shop. Seems Saturday's are the hardest day to entice volunteers. When I enquired they almost bit my hand off! The form I filled in only wanted my name, address, telephone number. No references or work experiences or anything more in depth. Seemed really strange *not* to be asked for every aspect of my life/world or where my birth mark is! Stark contrast to being rejected from a weight management club recently for not giving them my age :heehee:

Get well soon wishes to all who are under par :grphg:

          Miles of smiles

                  Morning everyone,

Its cool here and raining, not much but they said on the news that we could see some wet snow later.......greaaaat!!

Brad and I had Daniel last night for 4 hours, Natalie and Dan went out to dinner and to a movie, little toot didn't sleep at all, I gave him a bath but it didn't make him sleepy, he naps for 20 mins here and there during the day but he does sleep at night though which is good, especially being 4 weeks old!!

I'm off to Toronto soon, so I need to go get dressed, had my shower earlier and I forgot to turn the furnace up last night, little cool here this morning!

                  Enjoy your day everyone.

                  Good morning everyone,

Shiney and Woo....hope you managed to do your repairs without too many hitches :dbgrtmb:

My old fences are hanging on by the skin of their teeth ,there's a lot to be said for Ivy...i think that's all that's keeping them up:biggrin: the length of fencing (approx 100ft) on one part of the garden belongs to the bungalow next doorand desperately needs replacing which we didn't get around to doing when the elderly couple lived their (you should have seen their veg patch,it was amazing...and they were both well in their 90's:love30:)Sadly they both passed away within months of each other and the property is now rented out....i was TOLD by the landlord that we WILL go shares:huh:....which might have been a possibility if the latest tenants children didn't keep kicking holes in it and climbing all over it....i'm not paying for a new fence to be destroyed so it's patched up enough so my chooks and dogs don't escape and luckily the shrubs and trees hide it....:blue thumb:

It's a lovely bright sunny morning here again,a little on the cool side but nothing a dressing gown won't fix:dbgrtmb: hope it's good where you all are too:SUNsmile:

                  Wishing everyone well...
Have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:
