Saw a different vet this time. She asked me plenty of questions, about precisely what he's fed, how often he goes and what it looks like etc. She took some blood from him and she's going to test for things like colitis and also food intolerances. She's swaying towards food intolerance as he was worse when he was on the plain chicken/rice diet. One result should've back later this week, the other sometime next week

Food intolerance is easier than colitis which can be recurring. Thinking of you :grphg: I know how worrying this can be!!

      Thanks @Val :)

I know it sounds grim, but I've been keeping a record, for two reasons; the first to try and preempt any accidents, so we know roughly what times he's getting into a routine with (and to maybe change his last meal so that I don't have to get up at 2am every night...!) and also, if he has a treat, etc if that affects him. He definitely has an aversion to cheese as one little bit made me take him out two extra times that night. No more cheese!!

          Good morning :)

He's getting on fine :) I'm still waiting for the results of the blood tests, was hoping for one of them to come back last week. He seems to have settled down in that department, and now lasts 12-6am so I'm getting at least a solid 6 hours sleep now :)

they grow so quickly don't they, i wish i could weave a spell or something that'd make them stay as teeny tiny squishy little puppies for longer (not necessarily forever...just longer!) it passes way too quickly :wub2:

say, you don't happen to have a magic wand do you?

Vets have just phoned, Reggie's got a 3 (out of 5) for intolerance to beef! And a 1 out of 5 for lamb. Cow milk didn't show so maybe the food from the breeder was beef. His other test that checked pancreas, etc had a borderline bacterial result but the vet said that she's disregarding that as it's within normal limits. So best outcome really ☺️
