    It isn't Christmas without a sofa advert! What's with Christmas and sofa adverts? :scratch: :snork:

    The neighbours opposite put their lights up outside the house this afternoon. They're white and twinkly .......they're nice but it's too early!

      A few years back when i were driving lorrys, there was a bump on the motorway and it got shut, so the police sent us through a town and there Christmas lights which were not to the miniume height, and the trailor was 16 foot but the lights weren't :mute: there was alot of bulb that were going bang, police not happy :snork:

        I find the blue flashing lights really weird, they mess with my sense of space and distance making them look kind of - unearthly. Anyone else find this - the other colours are fine.

        I'll be lucky if i get mine up by the 2nd week in December. I'm always slightly relieved when they come down.

            I have a friend in Wales that leaves his Christmas tree up all year.

            No needles left on it though.

              Aye, week before last when we were driving home there was a house all lit up - day after Halloween if I recall correctly.

              Kinda ruins it for me

                We've got blue LED ones, which we like the look of - however, they are on or off, can't be doing with them flashing.

                Is flashing a sign of the times and lack of Christmas spirit? :scratch:
                In my day, they didn't 'flash' they "twinkled" ... twinkling is much more Christmas than flashing, I feel :)
