For a friend's 2 year old grand daughter who loves being in her garden and is fascinated by butterflies, bees and flowers. I couldn't find a butterfly pattern small enough but I could scale down my bee pattern. Grandma has knitted her a lovely duffel coat in these yarns and asked me to knit her a little beanie to go with it:

Good job you've made on the scaling down :dbgrtmb:

Thanks GA. Hopefully, I have sewn the wings on the bees securely and also fastened the bees themselves on with extra threads. I've a feeling they maybe invited to fly ...:heehee:

I want to fetch my knitting needles out of mothballs and am looking for a specific knitting pattern, can you help please.

I want to knit a longish tunic type sweater in 'Chunky' and I'm looking for a plain-ish pattern with a cow/cowl/scoop neck, does anyone have any pointers please? To a certain degree I can adapt a pattern so something similar is a possibility.

Thanks Jenny, I'll go take a looksy. :) My daughter triggered this, when she came home in October she had a beautiful one that she'd bought in Canada. I know it won't look the same on my old body but it looked so cosy. :)

No, not like GC. It's a web site for knitters and crochet mainly. Literally hundreds and hundreds of patterns to browse,

Inspired by @"M" 's sunflowers and @Spruce's bees, I have knitted this to go to Shineyland next May. I love the symmetry of moss stitch which is reflected here in the main body of the cosy and the head of the sunflower,
