Unknown Hebe has started to bloom again. It seems to like a few months rest in the summer, but will bloom all through the winter..................

The flowers of Gaura lindheimeri are a favourite of mine...................

One of my baby Clerodendrum ugandense is blooming in the greenhouse.................

 

The Salvia Amistad cutting that I took on 13th September has decided to produce flowers

 

A few bits and pieces which have survived some humdingers of frost recently. Expect all will drop their leaves by the end of the week but nice for the garden to go out in a blaze

 

Lovely pics Silu. I've found Berberis will struggle on against the weather. It's a plant that is often forgotten about but always looks good.

 

Seems a shame to fetch these out while still flowering so well.

I've just googled it and I really like it....love the foliage. I think it would look smashing in a container. There's another plant for my growing list!

 

So the fact that I don't like the combination of garish flowers and variegated foliage will be the least of my worries?

 

With the weather throwing all sorts of nasties at the island the roses are still battling on!
