    Aloha everyone,

    Welcome back, Penny :blue thumb:

Iy seems darker than usual this morning. By this time (6.55) there is usually a hint of light in the sky

I'm going to try and get more done in the garden today but I think most of what I do will be putting things away in the shed. Tools and equipment lying all round the garden! The hardest thing I've had to do recently was something that I wouldn't have been bothered with some years ago. The winds had blown down my stack of canes and they didn't go down neatly. They were all intermingled like the old game of 'pick up sticks'. Bending down, sorting them out (200 of them) and restacking them was really bad for my back. Although it didn't take more than 15 minutes it knackered me for 24 hours :hate-shocked:. I was wandering around like an old man and had trouble standing up straight! :old: I'd much rather have done five hours of mowing.

I'm still going to take it easy today :)

    Have a great day

    Aloha!

      Aloha everyone,

The site is getting worse cannot type even a sentence on it now so it is going to be permanently using the note book to take a message first.

Shiney, don't envy you the pick up sticks game. on top of your bad back too!

Loli, hope you do not have flooding problems there.

Penny so glad you are able to post again.

WOO hope you and the family are gradually improving healthwise.

      Steve where you disappeared to?

Have a good day everyone, stay safe, warm and dry all, God bless.

      Aloha!:wub2:

        Good morning everyone,

Shiney:ouch1:....isn't it annoying when jobs like that feel like they almost cripple you,yet some of the big stuff can be a breeze...I hope you're feeling more comfortable today:grphg::thumbsup:

I hope all those with the lurgy are feeling better:dbgrtmb:....

Moyra ..my computer was playing up last night but it was the net in general,it is happening a little too often for my liking lately :pcthwack:

Well luckily for me there wasn't any problems with the 'surge' as we are just far enough away from the Humber:phew:....there has been a lot of problems elsewhere though and there's a big clean up operation going on in the town center....

I plan on performing miracles today in the garden and the house....lots to do and just the thought is wearing me out:doh:i've written myself a list but i'm not going to look at it:heehee:....

        Waves to all...

Have a lovely day and take care:SUNsmile:

We had problems last night, as well. The 'internet' light on the router kept flashing off and on. I rebooted the router and it has been OK since. :blue thumb:

          Morning everyone,

Its a cold and frosty morning here, no snow yet but supposed to get some later tonight. We took Natalie out for one of her birthday dinners, there were 6 adults and Peanut, it was a BBQ place, food was excellent. Kait comes home late tonight for about 5 days since she has time off between her exams, so tomorrow night we are all heading out to dinner again, since Kait and Chris can be there.

I have my manicure at 11 this morning, feels odd going on a Saturday and then I have some shopping to do, Brad's at work for awhile...so I'll get the shopping done, and then we are going to get our tree, was holding off since we plan on painting but we'll be painting over the Christmas break instead.

Off to throw some laundry into the dryer.....so enjoy your day everyone.

Shiney, do take care of that back of yours.

                Morning everyone,

Its cold here this morning and we did get a dusting of snow overnight. I did manage to get my Christmas tree yesterday and got as far as the lights and ribbon on it, but that's it, plus we babysat Daniel last night so Natalie and Dan could go to the movies....I'll finish it today.

Its Natalie's 22nd b-day and we are all going out for supper later, with Kait and Chris and everyone is coming back here for dessert. Brad's at work until noon and I need to go up the shop and water my plants, and pickup Nat's b-day cake.

I have all the bedding in the wash and the duvet is going in next.........so enjoy your day everyone.
