        I think I'll just accept the natural ageing process. I'll tell wife about it but if she expects me to kiss her after she's rubbed snails on her face, she can think again.:)

              @Val.. you won't believe this but i have been asked to give a couple of Giant land snails a home and have yet to read up on them as i know nothing about how to look after them...this thread may just have made my mind up;)

              Good for you Loli :thumbsup: they make fascinating pets, anything you want to know just ask, I kept them as pets and bred them - awww the little baby ones are so cute!!

              Achatina fulica can do, they lay a lot of quite small eggs and if they all hatch because sometimes people used to forget to search the substrate then you're in trouble!!! :yikes: The ones I kept were Archachatina marginata which only lay about 6 eggs at a time, the eggs are much larger and easier to see so I only hatched the ones I wanted!! :cool: that is 6 eggs each as they fertilise each other! what clever little things they are!!:biggrin:

                Never found any eggs with my 2. Mind you, I never saw them at it either.

                  Maybe they didn't fancy one another!!! :heehee: When they do mate they are 'at it' for a loooong time, more stamina than us!!:biggrin:
