Wish I had more people's email addresses - we give to charity for the people we email a christmas greeting to, instead of posting. But of the people that I have not seen for 30 years, that I send cards too, none of the blighters have bothered to send me an email address :(

Work sent last year's email Christmas card out again this year adding "Recycled" and the money they saved on having a new one designed went to the Philippines appeal.

I went to the lengths of putting a holly wreath on mine at the weekend, and believe it or not,.....Its still there 3 days later.

The Wreath that is, not the door, ........that's been there ages.

 

If they're that clever maybe you could get them trained up to cook the turkey next year? Hide the tin opener to give them an incentive.

Only sent cards to family overseas this year.
Had to buy a new tree on Sunday because I had a master plan last year.
Mrs Mowgley said "it's about time we got a new tree, we were given this one when we moved in, so stop being tight and get a new one"
Me "ok let's throw this one in the bin (2 January)"
I'll get one in the sales Later
Plan back fires, none left
So Sunday off we went to b&q comes back with 7ft tree, new boubles new lights.
Talk about fleeced
Well got one happy missus and a very happy 5 year old so all ends well

As they were leaving I said you have not connected the gas fire, so they did sort of
They sheared the gas tap, sealed it up and put a condemned notice on all my gas fittings and said they may make it back Saturday :-(
