      The Radio 4 series Master Tapes recently featured Natalie Merchant. Great program in its own right, but it dawned on me that her Tigerlilly album was one of my favourites, yet it must have been 4 or 5 years since I'd listened to it. So out it came!





      Before she went solo Natalie was a founder member of The 10000 Maniacs. Not the best sound quality, but a great performance none the less........................

                It's not a problem Longk, each to their own! :) The only two female singers I like really are the 'earlier' Alison Moyer and Barbra Streisand, with a couple of opera singers for good measure. :)
