    Morning everyone,

Its cold and blustery here today, I was supposed to go back down to Toronto, however that's now tomorrow, not worth the risk.

I do have a little shopping to do and need to pop into the bank, as well as the grocery store.

    Enjoy your day everyone.

    Aloha Woo and everyone,

I'm trying to keep the bestest smile going :blue thumb: but having to scrape the ice off the car four times yesterday was stretching it a bit! (8 a.m., 4.30 p.m., 7.30 p.m. and 11.15 p.m.) I was going to go out early this morning but my ice scraping arm needs a rest. So, later on, I'll start the car up and then come back in for a cuppa. :)

Yesterday I got the gutters at the back of the house cleared out but it's hard work holding the bucket up to the gutter as I clear it. It starts off easy but it quickly gets heavy. The gutter soon gets full of moss and muck. Just the front to do and the summerhouse. I think I'll leave those until next year :heehee:

I had bad cramp in my little cow during the night so I'll be hobbling around for a few days - but I'll soon get my bouncibility back. :blue thumb:

    Have a great day

    Aloha!

No, I don't think so. Although I do have to be careful on ladders I was using some old wooden steps with very wide steps. I tend to get cramp a lot (a few times a day in my toes) but, nowadays, I don't get this really bad cramp in the calf so often. After getting it I'm usually hobbling around for anything from two or three days to a week or more.

            Aloha everyone,

It looks nice and peaceful outside at the moment. :)

In a few days time my computer shall be going into hospital for a check up.

I've been having problems with it for months but it hasn't stopped me using it. There has been some sort of problem with the windows updates and I've had to stop it doing them. If I go to shut the computer down it it goes through all its procedures and gets as far as 'Don't switch off as there are 'n' updates to complete' - and then it hangs there. I tried leaving it like that for 24 hours but it doesn't get past that bit.

So I switch it off and then back on. It restarts and gets fully loaded and then freezes. This happens every time, so I start in safe mode - with no problem. Then tell it to 'Restart' and it's OK.

If, when I'm up and running again I can 'restart' it (not switch it off) with no problem - except it freezes again when It has restarted. It will only restart properly when I rake it through 'safe mode'. As I keep the computer on most of the time it's not too much of a problem. I only usually need to restart it if it begins running slowly or other updates, such as the virus checker, require a reboot.

All scans etc show no problems. So I think that one of the Windows updates is corrupted. The person who does the computer will keep it at home for a while and give it a thorough check up.

I don't have any problems using GC or any other programmes. :blue thumb: So, hopefully, the computer will have a little bit of holiday and come home refreshed. I may be able to have the use of another computer some of the time. :)

Today is another busy day. Two meetings, taking some friends who are both recovering from operations and aren't very mobile, out for Christmas lunch, sorting out a couple of problems for people and trying to catch up on paperwork. :phew:

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

            Aloha everyone,

I am fed up with this site and the problems I am having with it. I suppose I could use my laptop but I just wish I could find out what it is this site doesn't like about my desk top pc.
Oh well I just haven't a clue why it does it and only on this site.

Sorry you are also having problems with your pc Shiney. They are a nuisance when they are not working properly.

WOO how is the family now have they managed to throw off those colds and flu? I do hope so.

Have a good day all, Stay safe and warm. God bless.

            Aloha!
