I am going to order loads of expensive camera gear (on HP), so I can take pix of the big bang, and enter them in January's photo comp

Ziggy the hat will be fine, though you should wrap GAFFA TAPE around your ears in case they get blown orft

That's a point, if we can wrap a warp bubble round GC by extending the Shineyland Shield, we could get thru it and clean up in the next universe

Its already started. GC members are already turning into each other. Looks like Lea has already turned into Armandii. Who's next?

 

So if everything in the universe is now getting heavier, does that mean I can stop trying to lose weight? After all there'd be no point would there?

Another thought, wouldn't it be just typical if just when the Higgs boson is finally confirmed to exist, so scientists now have a good working model of how matter works, the universe goes and changes all the rules.

One last thought. I wonder if this announcement is a sort of precursor to an announcement along these lines:

CERN: "Erm, you know when there was all that media hype that we might accidentally make a black hole and destroy the universe, and we laughed it off, well, err, how to put this... well lets just say you should probably stop worrying about the future because erm, you haven't got one".
