A the risk of repetition, todays offerings are the same as last week, same place, same birds!
Holes Bay, the fog cleared just as I arrived and out came the sun. I was going to B&Q and then 'work' but had to go over the road and check the shoreline.
Common Sand Pipers were tooooo far away.:frown:
      Curlew.

Smart Wigeon, just look at the pattern.

Went to Slimbridge yesterday and only just managed to upload the photos into computer.

I guess because of the mild weather not many swans have flown in yet, only saw a few Bewick swans around

Back in May last year during Shiney's Open Day "M" gave several of us some Sunflower seeds to sow. Mine grew and flowered well and now the birds are putting the seed heads to use.......so thank you, "M":love30:

Unfortunately not, Strongy. All my visitors to the feeders are wearing brown suits while the Blackbirds stuff themselves with the Sultanas at the base of the Bird Bath. There are the usual Pigeons of course but I've changed one of the two feeds to a caged type that only allows the smaller birds through so they're a bit miffed at the moment!!:heehee:

Nearly all our visitors are House Sparrows with the occasional Chaffinch and Blackbird. I'm hoping the Goldfinches and Siskins will return when it gets colder.

Quite a few Glodfinches around here, feeding off the Burdock seed heads at the moment.

I've never been a huge fan of Starlings but you've got to admire them for their 'coats':blue thumb:
