If the latest forecast is right there will be a lot of uncooked turkeys on Christmas day.

I live a white bit, but it floods out side the house (18 inch's), and why, because the land owners don't dig there ditch's so the water can't flow away , so :ideaIPB: , dig the ditch's and rivers and make sure drains are clear and the water will flow away :dbgrtmb: simples, ahh, but no one wants to pay for it and do it :mute:

Thanks Zigs, I aim to go across Sedgemoor from Langport to Bridgewater via Western Zoyland but if it is a bit risky I will go to Taunton from Yeovil and up the M5.

Been raining and blowing all day here so I expect the local rivers will flood as they usually do although we have had some work done on the banks this year.

I'd go the M5, the levels look like a sea at the moment. Couldn't get into Langport from Curry Rival, never seen that bit flood before.

@Scrungee , that is one useful site :dbgrtmb: very interesting to look at the flood patterns as you get out onto the Ormskirk plain , it gets very purple ! Luckily we live on top of a hill.
