I got a book by Richard Maybey - Beechcombings, the narrative of trees. Some Apple Chutney, Organic Apple juice and a box set of Monty Python :)

What did you lot get?

I got a garden trolley to move stuff around as my back has been killing me so that will help, a nice RHS book on pruning, some girlie bath stuff / face cream / cleanser, dvds, a lovely chunky cardy, some posh coffees ( I love coffee!) and some money to spend in the sales. :)

My lovely Lottery ladies bought me a pretty lacy / frilly scarf... been wearing it all day.
And another lovely lady made me a super Christmas cake, some yummy White Chocolate truffles and some home made Sloe Gin...:ThankYou:

I got a jumper of dad, a small but appreciated sum of money off my mam, but the best pressies came from my missus. I got a lovely woolly hat that I'd I'd hinted for, a new addition to my collection of metal tankards that I'd hinted for, but also a surprise I hadn't hinted for. I nice glass tankard with a comical slogan on it which read "I swear to drunk I'm not god".

The best present for me though was my son's reaction to Santa having been. Last year he sort of knew what was going on, but I think this year was the first year he really got into it. He was just buzzing all day, and even the new lad who can't possibly understand it at his age (nearly 5 months) was buzzing. Like I say, he can't possibly understand it, but I think he was just feeding off his big brother's excitement.

Mrs K gave me 3 musical frogs :wub2: - a Sax player, a Singer and a Drummer which are supposed to be me, the eldest and the youngest ... they are going to look smashing in the exotic garden

No photo yet, but I took this one, of other members of the tribe, at Chelsea in May:

I got some books, David Jason Autobiography, Karl Pilkington's Moaning of Life and Idiot Abroad 2 Diary, socks, couple of work jumpers, Lindt 'Balls of Heaven' (which is what I call them), a mug from the kids which has 'We [IMG] Dad , even though he farts' , a Lego Delorean from Back to the Future, a sweety selection and Nerf Gun (why?) from a friend, from my parents some Baileys and beers.

Mainly, it was for our kids, and seemed to enjoy themselves :)

Well I've been very spoilt this year.
From the fiancée I got a nice sum of £'s which she says that must be spent on myself not the garden :pathd:, cook books and a bottle of disaronno.
From little Mowgley some footy slippers, topgear DVD and a gift voucher for Palm centre :)
From family a few more £ and a couple of great gardening books, smellies, socks
All in all this Xmas has been very special plus the added bonus of great thoughtful gifts

Gardening wise I got new secutuers, new lawn edger (I'll still use my parents old style one though), 20 odd packets of seed :hapydancsmil:, potted Cyclamen for the window ledge. Also chocs, socks and a wad of money from the family. I was also forced to shop for new jeans .

Ted enjoyed his first Christmas too, he really likes it when there's loads of people round. Although, he was more interested in playing with the cupboard doors then with his new presents. Silly Ted.

Hope you're all having a joyous holiday period!
