    Just got a tape label machine, from Lidl £14.99
    I was fed up of never being able to find a pencil to do labels, and name of the plant rubbing off.

    Comes complete with batteries and a sample label tape, you can buy a power adapter from ebay, will do at a later date

    Ian the batteries last for ages and then I recharge them so dont waste your £££ on a adaptor

      I throw the instruction leaflet away, I took one look at it and thought forget it.
      Only bought and machine as we needed some milk and spotted it

      What kind of labels does it produce? Those plastic embossed strips?

      They have these and similar ones on Ebay for around the same price.

      They are printed not embossed, you can do on word over the other, in upper and lower case.

        , I havnt seen one that good for £9.99 on ebay , cheepest they have is £15.99

        Hopefully the refill tapes are available elsewhere? 'coz Suttons change £18 for them ... perhaps buy 2 extra printers just for their tapes and flog the labeller units for 99p on eBay?!!

          The tape refills are about £6.00 on ebay for the brother labal machine

            Not sure how good those cheap tapes are on Ebay, people have complained that they are poor quality.
            I have only used the genuine tape so I wouldn't know.

            Staples sell the refills in store and online, not overpriced if I remember correctly.
