I confidently predict this is going to be the hottest day of the year so far.

Weather's been absolutely atrocious all day. Never got light really. Haven't ventured over the doorstep today,

Still torrential rain and gales, driving wasn't fun, roads like rivers.
I HAD to go to B&Q for a drill today to get my 10% discount!

 

Was not bad until about 3.00pm and we even went out for a walk, but now the wind is blowing 25mph from the SE and it's lashing rain.

 

It's been disgusting here too! Rain, wind and fog. As Jenny said it didn't really get light today, just gloom! 8C.

 

On a positive note: when you don't *have* to venture out in this weather ...


... it's really cosy snuggling in, with a pot of homemade soup and bread, a bit of a lap quilt for the in-between heating times and enjoying the company of virtual friends. AKA: appreciation for the positives

7C and the sky is partly cloudy. There's not much wind and it's stopped raining. A sunny day is forecast so fingers crossed!
