    Well, I'm back working again tomorrow so it's a drive to Birmingham for me along the back roads as much as I can. So far the reports are that the roads are clear.:coffee:

      I'm finding this all quite spooky....literally within 30 seconds it's alternating from breezy to ridiculously scary,the sound is deafening:sofa:....
      My tomatoes and Onions aren't going to get much sleep tonight because if you think i'm going to the GH to turn the light off you've got another thing coming:old:

          It calmed down a bit before but now it's lashing down again with strong gusts of wind....oops the window has just slammed shut again!

            Its absolutely throwing it down here, blowing a gale.
            Probably won't get a lot of sleep tonight as 1st day back in the morning after the holidays, shift starts at 6am

                Been persisting it down most of the night and this morning, wind howling about but I think people are getting used to it! At least we haven't got the northern US weather...

                  I've just watched a weather report on the BBCNews ...they're saying that there will be 70mph winds affecting the northwest especially the coast and the south east of the country this afternoon with heavy rain.
