    I saw it on TV last night where they reported from Muchelney. It's hard to imagine what it must be like to be cut off like that...

      I was in Swell Woods earlier, its a hill above Sedgemoor. The ground up there is saturated & all that water is heading down to join this.

          I saw the report on Muchelney. They were boating supplies and medicine in , and they passed over a submerged car ! It must have been 5 feet deep over that piece of road . The village appeared to be in the middle of a lake.
