Eating the last of the Salmon from Christmas with new potatoes from the garden

 

Just preparing one of my favourites ... corned beef hash ... simple as it's just a tin of corned beef, potatoes and onions ... looking forward to it.

 

Venison chops, Potato and chestnut gratin and garlicky green beans. Where's the 'rubbing tummy' smiley?

 

No, not yet.
If I'm being honest I hate barbequed food.

 

My fav tonight thai green curry & basmati rice

 

OOh, I remember in days gone by, we used to dip dollops in batter to make fritters Victoria,

 

proper chips , cold beef and Chinese curry sauce

I made a hearty beef stew(lots of veggies) with rosemary mash potato,i usually add 2 tins of chopped tomatoes but i only had 1 no time to run to the shop so i added passata (that was for my cannelloni) instead,it made a great contribution

 

Time to bump this after Sundays triumph! Steak, mushroom and Stilton pie. The pie filling (less the Stilton) sat on the woodburner for about six hours and it was sublime!

 

That sounds pretty tasty Longk - I finished off the cabbage soup that I made on Sunday also very tasty!
