Hi gang. Don't think my postman was very impressed with me being a gardener this morning. I had 14 plant and seed catalogues delivered one by one put through the letterbox. I did thank him after he had finished though!!

Mine is obviously thoroughly disgusted with me already - the propagator I ordered from T&M arrived damaged, and it clearly wasn't when it left T&M.

Bet he will be dead chuffed at having to carry a replacement.........

                  In defence of postmen:-

Postmen in Shineyland are unfailingly polite and helpful :blue thumb:.

If they have a lot of post, or a large package, they ring the bell and wait for one of us to get to the door (they have this uncanny knack of ringing when only one of us is in and we're on the phone or in the loo :heehee:).

Whenever we get a new postman he rings the bell, introduces himself and asks where we would like packages left if we're not in.

If we have any letters to post we just leave them sticking out of the letterbox and the postman will take them and post them for us.

Our current postman is named Pat! :snork:

To be fair, until fairly recently we had no problems with our postie, and I am all but certain that the problems we are having are due to management at the local office and not the man on the ground.

My postie aint bad, he leaves packages in the coal bunker in our shed which is good of him (or her!) Sometimes they do like to leave them in the recycling bin which is a bit worrying, no mishaps yet though thank Buddah.
