Related to this thread - http://www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/quick-project-stone-circle-to-fig-tree-maybe.56771/

The fig tree has to be put somewhere else as Mrs L has given approval (easier before being married!), the official nod if you will, the executive rubber stamp if you won't, to a nature pond! This after watching ponds on the Great British Garden Revival. Hasn't Charlie Dimmock filled out ?!

So it will be roughly as shown here

That circle is about 1.5m and I'm going to extend it to be more oval to make it a bit bigger but not a lot and shave a touch off the top of the lawn for planting

If love a pond, but not why the kids are small. Maybe in a few years.

One leaf would probably shade out the entire pond!

My son and I did a pond, having waited til I thought he was big enough to understand the dangers and have a chance of not falling in it. Then no sooner was it done and we found out he was getting a new brother or sister. Now we have a new lad, so I'm going to have to undo the pond. All is not lost though. I'm just going to painstakingly relocate it to the front garden, because they don't play out there.

@clueless1 ....any chance of securing some strong mesh just beneath the surface of the pond to keep the lads safe and save you having to relocate it?

Should be able to keep Mr & Mrs Heron out too?
