Marmite has been banned!

Plus Irn Bru, Ovaltine, Lucozade, Penguin Bars and Bovril.

Here in the UK it's only illegal to mix Marmite with Lucozade and use it as an anti-aphid spray.

 

The Canadian Government cites an additive in one of those products as being a contributor to hyperactivity.
Haaa, this is from a nation whose national breakfast is a dozen pancakes drizzled with a gallon of maple syrup and bacon rashers on the side.

 

Not to mention the Quebec Heartstopper.

I saw this on the news last night, and I have never ever seen the stuff here, in any of the stores that I go into.

Sounds like its more of a specialty store item.....never seen it.

Although I just read that some Walmart's carry it, and I do have to go there today, so I'm going to look for it here.,

 

Surely this new ruling will only create a marmite mafia that will enrich themselves through the illegal marmite trade.

If his business does fail, perhaps the enraged ex-pats not being able to get their favourite products will organize a street protest.

 

It is a special store item Penny, sold in British food stores there. I don't think this will bother my daughter either.
