        Aloha everyone,

Loli, if I drink a lot of water Mrs Shiney can use me as a watering can. :heehee: With the expanse of bruises I've got it looks as though I might be changing my ethnicity!

I can now get on with all the things that I've not had time for. I've been collaborating on the equivalent of a small text book for a series of bridge classes that I and another person shall be running. I, now, have to book a hall (Monday mornings) and work hard on the publicity.

This Wednesday is the start of a new section in our bridge club. I've been organising to run a parallel section of novice players so that people new to the game can get a 'gentle' game whilst in the environment of a proper club. That's going to be a tough one to keep organised.

The garden is in need of attention but is a bit too soggy to do much. All the heavy rain is washing away the edges of my lawns :hate-shocked: :cry3:

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

Morning all. I've got the day off work today, going to my aunt's funeral.

Having said that, I don't think it will be a sad or downbeat occasion at all. She lived to the grand age of 94 and was always a jolly old soul, with a ready smile and marvellous sense of humour.

Much loved by all her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as the rest of the family, she took life as it came with a ready smile and she undoubtedly would not want everybody moping around looking glum today, so we will all be there to share our memories and celebrate the life of this wonderful lady.

The service is being held in the lovely setting of a beautiful country church on the Suffolk coast and of course I will be catching up with many cousins and other relatives who I haven't seen for some time, so all in all I think it will be a day of happy memories and renewing old acquaintances. :)

                  Morning everyone,

Its soooooo cold here this morning, with the wind chill its -35 right now, and we got more snow overnight, so i'll be going out to snow blow later, or just wait for Brad when he takes his blower out, I'll do mine then.

I was supposed to go down to Toronto today, but there is a lot of blowing snow, and with the snow banks so high, you get white out's everywhere, I drove in that yesterday....not fun!!! Plus we have snow squall warnings in effect until 1pm here...so I'll stay home.

I guess since I'm home I could prime the closet doors upstairs, and the closet door at the top of the stairs....we'll see.

I planned on getting some cleaning done last night but we had Daniel for awhile, and then we had to go up to Brad's parents house, his mom couldn't get her computer to work, so it ended up taking Brad 2 hours to get it working for her, so we got back home just in time for Natalie and Dan to pick up Daniel after going to the gym....so I got nothing done.

Off to get some more coffee, and then start my day.......enjoy yours everyone.

Woo, I don't think I could put up with that 24 hour thing. My arm gets sore just taking my BP four times a day. How did you manage to sleep?

Good evening Shiney I didn't it really put tremendous pressure on your arm every 30 minutes, and that makes your fingers numb,it worked out that the average reading was 150/80
which 5 years ago was acceptable ,but the the powers to be changed it to 140/80 acceptable level,I have always been 150/80 even when I was in my teens,so no tablets for yours truly;)
Mrs Woo was on BP tablets for 5 years and then she collapsed and hit her head in tescos, result hospitalised for 7 days, end result was the consultant said she shouldn't have been on the tablets ,they lowered her BP to much and that is why she collapsed, now we have her BP checked every 3 months and it is always 140/80:)

I'm keeping my chart and shall see the doc next week. I reckon my average will be around 152/84, but I don't know how accurate my machine is. So I'll take it with me and we can use his and mine and compare ;) :heehee:

                  Aloha Woo and everyone,

We had extremely heavy rain last night but it's only drizzling at the moment.

Now that I'm not feeling too bad I hope to catch up on a lot of badly neglected paperwork. Some of it is quite important and past time I dealt with it. I'm already behind with some of the organising of Open Day - unfortunately two of our key helpers are going to be at a family wedding that weekend so we need to find some more help.

                  Have a great day

                  Aloha!

                  Aloha everybody.

Oh it is a filthy day out there. Amber and I came back from her walk soaking wet and filthy. All the footpaths are flooded and we have no choice to either slip and slide over the grass or walk through the mini lakes everywhere.

I hope this is not in for the day. Glad you are off the jabs shiney, take care. Not very comfortable for you WOO wearing a blood pressure monitor overnight. Glad your results are ok.

Happy Birthday to Archie and Theo for yesterday.

Have a good day all if you can, God bless.

                  Aloha! :wub2:
