:coughs: Can I just say that I (sort of) told you so? ;)

You have shown on numerous occasions on here that you have a clear talent when it comes to designing and planting up a garden - I would give a kidney for my garden to look as good as yours :blue thumb:

Well done mate - and don't forget, we need LOADS of pictures as it progresses.

The plans went before the business development board today, and it's exactly what they want:yes:

Now it's a case of getting 3 quotes in to see :-

A- if it's within the budget allocated
            And
            B- who get the job!

A plants list and price is the next stage. I'm hoping that local nurseries and garden centres will donate or sponsor the centre to keep some of the plant prices down. :blue thumb::SUNsmile:

Congrats. If you contact B&Q or Homebase they are usually happy to help out local community projects. Don't just go in store and ask for the manager though I think you need to write to head office. There might even be a specific person you need to contact.

Whenever we've begged for plants from Homebase it's always the manager the we saw and sorted it with... these mainstream places tend to have a very poor selection of uninspired plants though so I'd go to a more specialist nursery or centre. Do a search for 'wirral plants' on google maps and it turns up plenty in the local area

Congrats Al n, big achievement but I still want to see the plans!

                    Thanks guys!

I'll be approaching local family run and independent centres more so, as I'm hoping to get some sponsorship in the way of free advertising and free plants! :-)

I don't have the plans back as yet as they are getting prices for the hard landscaping based on them. As soon as I have them back then I'll scan and upload them on here. Ooh, it's exciting innit.......... :-) :-)
