        Jenny, it looks like we need to move to Scotland! :)

        A mixture of sunshine and heavy clouds today, 4C.

        The island is on an amber alert for tomorrow (Friday) and a red alert Saturday. The high tides will be driven by gale force winds on both days and flooding inevitable. The island hasn't recovered from the last bout yet! :doh:

          Yep, they seem to be more worried about Saturday now because of the predicted high winds and Spring tides than tomorrow. Batten down, Sheal, and stay safe!!:coffee:

            Thanks Armandii. I should be okay because of the wind direction and I'm on the west coast. North, south and east coasts are going to be battered again, sadly.

                At the moment the sun is coming up but we're being told that the heavy rain is on its way and strong winds tomorrow. I hope the strong winds aren't like last Saturday when a tornado took roofs off and threw trees around.
